Who we are:
TopUp Academy is a Kampala-based social impact consultancy that designs and delivers human-centred solutions across education, digital transformation, and enterprise development. Since 2017, we have partnered with NGOs, governments, and international organisations to solve complex development challenges – from the ground up.
Our work spans Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania. Whether we are facilitating Design Thinking workshops in rural communities, building e-learning platforms for public institutions, or conducting impact evaluations for development partners – we bring evidence, empathy, and local expertise to every engagement.

Team Lead
Anthony is a human-centered design practitioner, digital transformation specialist, and certified product manager with over a decade of experience across Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania. He has led programmes at War Child, Enabel, STIR Education, and the Rwanda Basic Education Board -working at the intersection of education, technology, and social impact.
M&E Specialist
MSc in Monitoring and Evaluation and a BA in Development studies 8+ years in mixed-methods evaluation, gender-responsive research, and land rights programming. Experienced in OECD-DAC evaluations, MSC facilitation, and report writing for international clients. Fluent in English, Luganda, and Runyakitara.
Qualitative data Expert
MSc Public Health PGD Monitoring and Evaluation. 10+ years in health and gender-sensitive qualitative research, thematic analysis, and participatory evaluation. Strong background in social norms analysis, FGD/KII facilitation with grassroots women’s groups, traditional leaders, and government officials. . Fluent in English, Luganda, Lusoga, and Runyankore.

Before jumping into visuals, we map the foundation: site architecture, user flows, wireframes – all the stuff that makes the final product work.

Iterate
This is where the magic happens. I’ll explore visual directions, create interfaces, and refine based on your feedback — until everything feels just right.
